AP LAWCET 2017– On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu, will be conducting the AP LAWCET on April 19, 2017 for admissions to the three-year and five-year LL.B/B.L. courses offered by state law colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test for law programmes (AP LAWCET), a state-level undergraduate law entrance exam will be administered online for the very first time by the university. 33 colleges are expected to participate in the admission process for APLAWCET 2017. More than 8000 seats will be available for students interested in joining LLB and Integrated LLB programmes. However, since the inception of Telangana in 2014, the LAWCET exam was also split into separate ones held state-wise: TS LAWCET and AP LAWCET. Candidates are expected to go through the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2017 in detail before filling the application form. AP LAWCET 2017 eligibility criteria are set of guidelines issued by Sri Krishnadevaraya University for the state-level law entrance examination. AP LAWCET eligibility criteria specify minimum academic qualification and age required for the three year and five year integrated law programmes. The candidates will not be offered admissions if they do not meet the eligibility for AP LAWCET.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University will invite the AP LAWCET 2017 Application Form in online mode from February 18 onwards. Candidates should keep all the mandatory details handy before filling the application form of AP LAWCET 2017. Candidates need to enter only the correct information, including parents’ names, gender, mobile number, community/category, choice of examination centre along with digital copies of color photograph and signature while applying for AP LAWCET. Candidates also need to pay an application fee for APLAWCET which is Rs. 700 and can be paid through AP Online centres and Credit/Debit Card options. Application of AP LAWCET 2017 should be submitted before the last date or additional fees may be charged. The Andhra Pradesh law exam registration number that will be generated during the application process will be crucial for all further correspondence.
As declared by APSCHE, AP LAWCET 2017 will be held on April 19 and the Andhra Pradesh state-level common entrance test for law programmes will be conducted online from this year onwards. The exam pattern of AP LAWCET 2017 mentions the structure of the paper including important information, number of questions, relevant sections, total marks and duration of the test. According to the AP LAWCET 2017 exam pattern, there will be no negative marking for wrong responses.
The admit card of AP LAWCET 2017 has been released from April 14. Candidates can download AP LAWCET 2017 Admit Card by entering the necessary candidate details including application/registration number and date of birth. The AP LAWCET admit card is also referred to as hall ticket, and is considered an important document. AP LAWCET hall ticket (admit card) will contain important information for the candidates including the exam centre, time of the exam and roll number.
AP LAWCET 2017 will be held in 10 different exam centres across Andhra Pradesh state. The candidate will be asked to choose their AP LAWCET exam centre with preference while filling the application form. Candidates will be allotted an exam centre of AP LAWCET from the choices opted by them while applying for the Andhra Pradesh Law entrance exam. The AP LAWCET Exam Centres will be allotted on a first-come first-serve basis. Once allotted, no AP LAWCET exam centre will be changed under any circumstances.
The Answer Key of AP LAWCET 2017 was uploaded online on April 25 along with the exam paper and the response sheets of the candidates. Candidates will find the answer key useful to cross-refer their answer-sheet with the official answer key of AP LAWCET. They can also estimate their law exam scores by tallying their responses through the released AP LAWCET answer sheets before the final results are announced. Candidates can also file objections to any of the questions after cross-checking it with the official AP LAWCET 2017 answer key within the stipulated date of April 29. Once the objections have been filed, APSCHE will be releasing final answer key of AP LAWCET 2017.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University is expected to announce the AP LAWCET 2017 results on behalf of APSCHE by the first or second week of May 2017. The results of AP LAWCET will be announced after the final answer key has been issued. Candidates can check the result of AP LAWCET 2017 through official link given here. AP LAWCET score and results can be downloaded by entering hall ticket number through the official link. AP LAWCET results will mention the examination scores obtained by the candidates.
The Rank Card of AP LAWCET 2017 can be downloaded by the candidate through the official AP LAWCET result link given here. Candidates will have to enter their hall ticket number for downloading their score card (rank card).The minimum qualifying percentage of marks for ranking to be considered in the AP LAWCET will be 35% of the total marks in the Law Common Entrance Test. The rank card of AP LAWCET 2017 will be valid for the 2017-18 admission year only.
The counselling for AP LAWCET 2017 will be based on the rank list prepared by the organizing University as per the marks secured by the candidate. Candidates can choose their college, course and course type by exercising the web options available through the AP LAWCET official counselling link given here. Following the online counselling process of AP LAWCET 2017, candidates will have to register for participating in the admission counselling for which they need to enter details including their hall ticket, rank and mobile number. They will also need to provide the order of preference for the colleges. The allotments made via web counselling of AP LAWCET will be final and will be conveyed to the candidate through SMS on their submitted mobile number. All the relevant certificates will have to be submitted along with the given fees by the candidate in person at the help line centres once the AP LAWCET 2017 counselling process begins. Candidates belonging to SC / ST category have to pay Rs. 500/- and all others have to pay Rs.1000/- towards processing fee which is non-refundable.
