Important Information on AP LAWCET Result 2017
Result of AP LAWCET 2017 is based on the scores obtained by the candidates out of the total 120 questions that were asked in the exam of AP LAWCET. While each question was for one mark, there was no negative marking for wrong attempts.
Candidates needed to answer at least 35% of questions correctly i.e., 42 out of 120, to be considered eligible for AP LAWCET 2017 Result and rank card. This rule is not applicable to SC/ST candidates.
AP LAWCET 2017 Result can be checked by candidates now, as it has been released on May 9. The Rank Card of AP LAWCET 2017 will be available for download one week later.
Candidates should immediately contact the AP LAWCET 2017 Convener’s office in case, they are unable to download the AP LAWCET Rank Card.
The AP LAWCET 2017 Rank will be valid for admission into the Three Year and Five Year undergraduate law programmes for the academic year 2017-18 only.

How will AP LAWCET 2017 Rank be decided if there is a tie in AP LAWCET 2017 marks?
Candidates who have appeared for AP LAWCET 2017 will be ranked in the order of merit, which will be based on the marks they have secured. However, there remains a possibility that some candidates may have obtained equal marks and there is a case of tie-marks in AP LAWCET. The AP LAWCET Rank 2017 will then be determined as given below-
Candidate who scores higher marks in Part C of AP LAWCET 2017 - Aptitude for the Study of Law – will receive a higher rank.
If there is still a tie, the candidate who has scored higher marks in Part B of AP LAWCET 2017 – Current Affairs – will receive a higher rank.
If there is still a tie, candidates may be bracketed together in the same AP LAWCET 2017 rank but seniority in terms of age will be considered and given admission preference.
The AP LAWCET Result 2017 will determine the admissions for undergraduate law admissions to three-year LLB and five-year integrated law programmes into the participating law colleges of Andhra Pradesh state for the academic year 2017-18.
