DU LLM CounsellingDU LLM Counselling 2017– The Counselling for DU LLM 2017 will begin tentatively in the first week of August, one week after the Merit List of DU LLM 2017 is made available. The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, will be organizing the DU LLM 2017 Counselling for admissions to the Two Year postgraduate LLM programme offered at all three of its law centres. Candidates will be able to know their admission status through the DU LLM 2017 Result. The result of DU LLM 2017 will reflect if the LLB graduates seeking admissions to the Faculty of Law’s PG programme have cleared the DU LLM 2017 Cut Off and have the chance of obtaining the DU LLM 2017 Cut Off Rank required to be considered eligible for the counselling process of DU LLM 2017. The DU LLM 2017 Merit List will confirm the final positions obtained by candidates in DU LLM 2017 Entrance Exam. The final seat allotment and document verification will take place through the Delhi University LLM Counselling sessions.

 

Admissions through DU LLM 2017 Counselling will take place in an offline mode at each of the three law centres affiliated to the Faculty of Law in Delhi University. It is essential for candidates to be present in person as per the given DU LLM 2017 Counselling schedule and these sessions will be held on different dates for different categories as per the schedule. Candidates should report to their respective DU LLM Centre depending on the rank they have obtained in the DU LLM Final Merit List released by the DU Faculty of Law. Important Information on DU LLM 2017 Counselling!

There will be a total of 54 seats made available in Delhi University’s Two Year LLM course. Candidates will be allotted their seats through DU LLM 2017 Counselling depending on the Centre at which they wish to study and the rank they have obtained in their respective categories, depending on the availability of seats at each Centre. Only those candidates who have cleared the DU LLM 2017 Cut Off Rank and obtained a place in the DU LLM 2017 Merit List will be eligible for DU LLM 2017 Counselling.

 

The DU LLM 2017 Counselling schedule will also include the counselling time and date for waitlisted ranks. Candidates will have to report category-wise and rank-wise for the same although their admissions will be dependent on the seats finally left available.

On the Counselling dates, candidates will have to go to the respective rooms of Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-1 and Law Centre-2 as notified and as per the timings given in the below table.

Candidates attending DU LLM 2017 Counselling should carry with them the originals and self-attested copies of the documents given in the list below.

 

DU LLM Counselling Documents 2017

  • Eight passport size photographs

  • DU LLM 2017 Admit Card

  • Proof of Age Certificate (preferably Class 10 or Class 12)

  • Character Certificate

  • Provisional or final degree certificate of LLB

  • Marksheet of LLB

  • PH/CW/SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate if applicable

Candidates who unable to complete their admission process at the time of DU LLM 2017 Counselling because of absence of the above mentioned documents will not be permitted entry to the DU Two Year LLM Course. Also candidates who have not received their LLB exam results by the time of DU LLM Counselling will be ineligible for admissions, unless their results are declared before the admission last date as laid down by Delhi University.

 

DU LLM Seat Allotment 2017

 

Seats will be allotted to aspiring LLB graduates who have cleared the DU LLM 2017 Entrance Examination with the requisite DU LLM 2017 Cut Off Rank. Candidates should be familiar with the DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment process to be able to keep track of the status of vacant seats after each round of DU LLM 2017 Counselling.

  • The DU LLM 2017 seats will be allotted strictly on the basis of merit in the DU LLM 2017 Entrance Examination.

  • Candidates will be allotted one among the 54 seats available for admissions at the Faculty of Law, Delhi University.

  • DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment will be done as per the rank obtained category-wise as per the Counselling schedule of DU LLM 2017.

  • It will be upto the successful DU LLM 2017 candidates to choose at which of the three centres of Delhi University’s Faculty of Law they would like to take admission in from among Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-1 and Law Centre-2. Their allotment will also be dependent on their rank and the availability of seats.

  • Once the candidate has been alloted a seat at a particular centre through the DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment process, that allotment will be considered final and no request for change will be entertained.

  • Candidates will have to prove their eligibility and have all the necessary documents in hand in order to qualify for DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment.

  • Candidates unable to prove eligibility or with incomplete documents will not qualify for DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment and their place will go to the next candidate in the DU LLM 2017 Merit List.

  • Seat Allotment for Delhi University’s LLM course will continue to take place irrespective of the candidate’s availability. If any candidates is found absent during the DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment process, then again their place will go to the next candidate in the Merit List of DU LLM 2017.

  • The DU LLM Seat Allotment 2017 will only conclude and be considered final once the requisite fees for the DU LLM Two Year course at Delhi University has been paid.

DU LLM Counselling 2017 Important Points

  • The Counselling for Delhi University’s LLM Coursewill be organized by the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Law in offline mode, at the three law Centres affiliated to it.

  • DU LLM Counselling 2017 will take place category wise, on different dates and times for different categories of candidates upto the DU LLM Cut Off Rank.

  • There may be upto three rounds of DU LLM 2017 Counselling on different dates, including for waitlisted DU LLM candidates.

  • Candidates should ensure that they are present in person with the required documents on the given date and time as per the DU LLM 2017 Counselling schedule.

  • Candidates will have to fill the six page long DU LLM 2017 Admission form at the time of DU LLM counselling in their own handwriting .Candidates will also be provided with an option form in which they can mark their Centre of choice for pursuing the Two Year LLM Course offered by Delhi University.

  • The admission form, along with the candidate’s original documents and self-attested copies, should be submitted to the concerned DU LLM staff present in the counselling room.

  • The staff will verify the candidate’s admission form, DU LLM 2017 Admit Card along with the submitted documents and make a file of the same.

  • If found correct, the candidate’s admission form will be signed by a minimum of two teachers from DU’s LLM course for clearing the admission.

  • Post the admission form approval and document verification, candidates will have to pay their DU LLM 2017 Admission fees strictly within two working days of the conclusion of DU LLM 2017 Counselling. Otherwise, their seat may be allotted to the next candidates in the DU LLM 2017 Merit List.

  • The DU LLM 2017 fees will be slightly lower for candidates who have cleared their LLB exam from DU as compared to candidates from other insitutions.

  • The DU LLM 2017 Counselling process may close at any rank whenever all the 54 seats are filled.

  • No one apart from the candidates, including parents, relatives or friends, will be allowed to enter the hall during the time of DU LLM 2017 Counselling.

  • Once the DU LLM 2017 Seat Allotment for every round of DU LLM 2017 counselling is conducted and the fees are paid by candidates, the DU LLM 2017 Admission Process will conclude and no further communication will be entertained with regard to the Counselling process of DU LLM 2107.
