TS LAWCET 2017– Kakatiya University, Warangal, under the aegis of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), conducted the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2017 on May 27, 2017 between 10 am and 11.30 am. TS LAWCET is held annually for law aspirants seeking admissions to the three-year and five-year L.L.B./B.L. courses offered by Telangana’s state law colleges. TS LAWCET 2017 was held in offline mode. 22 law colleges will participate in the admission process of TS LAWCET 2017 and 4670 seats across L.L.B. and B.A./B.Com/B.B.A. L.L.B. courses will be made available. Before the official formation of Telangana, undergraduate law examination entrance for the unified state of Andhra Pradesh used to take place through a single exam called the LAWCET. Since 2014 however, the LAWCET Exam has also been split state-wise, with TS LAWCET being conducted for law aspirants of Telangana and AP LAWCET being conducted for Andhra Pradesh.
The last unified LAWCET exam was held at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2014. Since then, Kakatiya University, Warangal has been annually conducting the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test.

TS LAWCET 2017 Answer Key will be available online within three days of the exam, from May 30 onwards. The Answer Key of TS LAWCET will be essential for candidates to know their right and wrong answers and estimate their scores before the TS LAWCET 2017 Result. Final Answer Key of TS LAWCET 2017 will also be released with the result of TS LAWCET on June 10. If candidates sense any discrepancy in the preliminary TS LAWCET Answer Key, they can file their objections with the TS LAWCET officials until June 2. After the objections are received, the final TS LAWCET Answer Key 2017 will be released and will be helpful for candidates to verify their final answers and clarify their mistakes.
The result of TS LAWCET 2017 has been announced by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE on June 10. TS LAWCET 2017 Result has been released released along with the final TS LAWCET 2017 Answer Key. Candidates are required to enter their hall ticket number to check their TS LAWCET Result. This can be done at the official link of TS LAWCET as given below. Candidates can check their final scores through the TS LAWCET 2017 Result.
TS LAWCET Rank Card 2017 will be released about a week after the results of TS LAWCET are announced. The TS LAWCET score card will be made available on the official link given here. Candidates can enter their TS LAWCET Hall Ticket number to download their rank card. To be eligible for the TS LAWCET Rank Card, candidates will have to secure atleast 35% of the total marks in TS LAWCET 2017. The Rank Card of the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test will be valid for the 2017-18 period only.
TS LAWCET Counselling 2017 will begin in online mode tentatively from the first week of November. Candidates can appear for TS LAWCET Counselling depending on the marks they secure in the TS LAWCET 2017 Result and the rank they achieve in the TS LAWCET 2017 Rank Card. Candidates will first have to register at the online counselling link given here where they will be asked to enter their TS LAWCET hall ticket number, TS LAWCET rank and their mobile number. Then they can opt for their colleges and courses in order of preference from the given list of participating colleges in TS LAWCET. The choices made by the candidates through web counselling will be final and sent to them through SMS. Candidates will then have to appear at the TS LAWCET Counselling centres to complete document verification after paying the requisite processing fees. Completion of the TS LAWCET Counselling process in the given manner will ensure successful admission to the candidate’s college and course of choice through TS LAWCET 2017.
The eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2017 is determined by TSCHE. Candidates who do not fulfill the TS LAWCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Therefore it is advised that candidates read the eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2017 before filling the TS LAWCET application form. The TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria will inform candidates about the minimum qualifications, nationality conditions, age and other requirements they are expected to meet before applying for the three year and five year law integrated law programmes through the undergraduate law entrance examination of Telangana.
Application form for TS LAWCET 2017 will be invited from March 18 through online mode by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE. The last date for form submission has been extended to April 21 from April 18. Before filling the TS LAWCET 2017 application form, candidates are requested to keep all the required details in hand including digitally scanned copies of candidate’s photograph and signature, names of candidate’s parents, gender, mobile number, category details and exam centre preference. Candidates should ensure they fill only the correct information in the TS LAWCET application form. Submission of the TS LAWCET form will also require candidates to pay an online application fee of Rs. 350 which will be Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates. A TS LAWCET Registration number will be generated upon fee submission which candidates should note down for use during future steps of TS LAWCET admission process.
TS LAWCET 2017 was conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of TSHCE on May 27 this year. The exam was conducted in offline mode. TS LAWCET 2017 Exam Pattern will help candidates to know the question structure of the exam including total questions, important sections, marks and duration. As per the exam pattern of TS LAWCET 2017, there will be no negative marking for any of the questions. Candidates can also know in advance the TS LAWCET 2017 Syllabus and make the proper preparations for the Telangana State Law Entrance.
TS LAWCET 2017 Admit Card has been released from May 19 onwards, two days later than the originally scheduled date of May 17 and is comprised of the details entered by the candidate in their TS LAWCET application form. The Admit Card for TS LAWCET can be downloaded by candidates through the official link by entering their TS LAWCET 2017 application/registration number and complete date of birth. The TS LAWCET Admit Card will also act as the candidate’s Hall Ticket for TS LAWCET 2017 and is one of the most important documents of the exam. It will indicate the candidate’s chosen exam centre, the exam time and roll number details and should be carried to TS LAWCET 2017 without fail.
TS LAWCET 2017 will be held at 12 different regional centres across Telangana state. Candidates should choose their TS LAWCET 2017 Exam Centre when filling their online application forms. TS LAWCET Exam Centre 2017 will be allotted to candidates depending on their chosen preference. Candidates will not be allowed to change their TS LAWCET 2017 Centre once they have submitted their choice.
