Directorate of Higher Education, (DHE, Pune) Maharashtra conducted MH CET Law 2016 on June 19 in online mode. The law entrance test was conducted for admissions to three-year LLB programmes offered at various law colleges of Maharashtra state. Candidates seeking admissions to three-year LLB programmes offered at each of government law colleges of the state appeared for law entrance exam.

MH CET Law 2016 was conducted for duration of 2 hours at various centres across India. Candidates needed to appear in the exam at the examination hall as mentioned on the admit card of MH CET Law 2016.
As per the exam pattern of MH CET Law 2016, there were 150 objective type questions for total 150 marks. Candidates needed to mark one response from the four options available for each questions. Moreover, there is no negative marking in case of wrong answers. Though, the questions attempted with more than one response or left unattempted will be considered as wrongly attempted and hence, no marks will be allotted for such questions.
The online mode law entrance test was based on four subjects including Legal Aptitude and Logical & Analytical Reasoning for 30 marks each, General Knowledge & Current Affairs for 40 marks and English for 50 marks.
DHE has notified that results of MH CET Law 2016 will be announced by June 30 in online mode. Moreover, Counselling of MH CET Law 2016 will be organized in online mode through Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The exam authorities will also be releasing merit list for MH CET Law 2016 for candidates who have qualified the state level law entrance exam, mentioning their overall scores and rank obtained at state level.
